Server not seen in Network Neighborhood

Recommended Posts

I've got three servers that were in Network Neighborhood and now are missing.

They had been extremely slow so I rebooted them one at a time and they came

back to life but are no long seen in Network Neighborhood. These are Windows

2003 Std Servers. I can map a drive to a share on the Servers though.

TIA

Hello MTechG,

Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, network properties>TCP/IP>advanced>WINS>enable

netbios over TCP

or install a WINS server, if the above step did not help.

Best regards
