Hi dave.

Do you have any HP hardware like a printer/scanner?

What is your computer? Make/model/number?

Its related to HP drivers - uninstall your printer drivers and see if it continues. (make sure you can get the print drivers before you remove them)

but it can also be Malware - you may want to check with Chiaz about that and post in the Malware section just to be sure

uninstall the driver from add/remove programs and then see if the problem persists, I would say that you have an old driver and software and then get the latest from the HP website

Yes it me again on my PC now. Have tried uninstalling the printer software and then installing an up to date driver but the message won't go away. David.

Hi Dave, did you disconnect the printer? you must pull the plug out before uninstalling the printer software including the drivers.

Then reinstall the software, it should prompt you when to plug the printer back in while the software reinstalls.

Nev.
