I have a genuine Windows Disc,and have HAD to re-format a few times,now I

have upgraded my Hard Drive, and reloaded my disc(hopefully for the last

time),I get the message that 'I've used up the amount of times I can use the

Product Key???

It's my disc, same computer,so can anyone suggest a way around this

'problem'??,or am I going to have to buy another disc??,(I have been told

that there is a number/key regenerator site, but not the where!!),help

Just activate by phone and explain that you've simply re-installed the

operating system again.

Call the telephone number presented at the end of the validation

wizard to get a rep to issue you a new code.

It's extremely unlikely that that is the actual message text.

It's far more likely that the message is telling you that it cannot be

activated online.

This is quite normal if you've had to reinstall repeatedly.

Look closely at the dialog. There is an option to activate by phone.

You'll get another dialog with a toll-free number, tell them you've had to

reinstall if they ask, and within ten minutes of picking up the phone your

system will be activated. It isn't a problem; you read them some numbers,

they read you some back and you enter them.
