Hi,

That report does not tell what speed the RAM is I would guess that it is not very fast though, TBH the CPU, GPU and RAM could all do with being upgraded but it depends on what you want to use it for, Crysis even by todays standards of technology is still a very high requirement game and you really need a faster dual or quad core CPU at least a 260GTX or faster GPU.

If you are looking to spend £100 I would honestly upgrade the GPU to a GTX 260 GS or an HD 5770 1GB (both of these are suitable for a 20''-22'' monitor) but they still wont allow for Crysis at 1680x1050 with AA and AF set to max

If I were you I would look at Overclocking the CPU and RAM if you can - have any experience in OCing as you have marked yourself as very experienced skill level?

Well i know how to overclock cpu by doing through bios.

(using 'async' setting) as for ram i never really touched that so how would i go about it.

Im experienced - but not as in 'overclocking' too much, so if you could give me some help that wouldbe great..

Thanks so much for replying

overclock the CPU and disassociate the RAM from the overclock by leaving the CPU:RAM divider at 1:2

basically you want to overclock the CPU, but have the RAM NOT overclocked as its not overclocking RAM so when you set the CPU to RAM divider it needs to be at 1:2 basically the RAM will run at half the speed of the CPU
