What better way to introduce Christmas than with a brilliant Christmas lights display.

A look round youtube will find many many more of these displays. The first is I believe the first time these displays were made public, the idea just grew and now Youtube is full of them.

That's just crazy come on....you sure they do that and it's not like special effects?...Besides I'd hate to pay the bills at the end of Christmas due to it....

Oh it is real, the first one which is done to the "Wizards of winter" by the trans Siberian Orchestra, was originally first set up by the house owner way back in 2004. He used some quite complex control gear to synchronise the lights with the music. The music is transmitted on a short range FM transmitter so that folk can park up, and watch and listen on their car radio. It proved popular enough that by 2008 he was erecting the set up in a local park as the traffic build up outside his house, prompted the local authorities to demand he stopped or moved his display elsewhere, so he did just that.

I've decided my favorite is the last one.....We don't have anything like house light shows were we live....interesting to know that people actually do it and its not just special effects which was my original thought.

There are people in the UK that do similar for charity..

Its more the amount of lights though rather than them flashing to themes
