Hi ,

i have a problem with the trust settings between two standalone active

directory domains.

is it normal, that i cannot use a user from domain A in a group of users in

domain B?

When i use users from domain a for a share in domain b ...everything works

fine.

When i try to insert a user from domain a into a group in domain b, i do not

see the other domain in the selection field

thank you very much

A global group can contain only member of its own domain.

Create a Universal group and add the user of domain A to this group.

Then add the Universal group to the Global group in domain B.

Domain A user ---->Universal group------>Global group in Domain B

By the way you used a domain trust or a forest trust?
