Hi, ALL:

We have a Win2003 network, a parent domain with 20 child domains. Now, one

of our child domain's two domain controllers are failing (getting old). We

bought a new server, trying to replace the old servers.

What is the best way to proceed it? Where can i find some guidance?

Thanks for your response...

Re: promote a new DC

Add the new server to the domain as a member server then run dcpromo. Then

setup DNS to your network standards, and make it a global catalog if

necessary.
