Guest kim_2381 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Hi, I have a question about ntbackup. I have a NEO2000 with one HP LTO3 drive and a barcode reader. From now, ntbackup is not recognizing most of tapes' barcodes (just 3 of 30!) but I can record/recover data. My question is if after this issue is fixed I will be able to recover the data from the tapes that the barcoed were initially unrecognized. Thanks for you help. kim_2381

What if a respondent says "yes", and you subsequently realise that you can no longer read the tapes? You must find out for yourself if you can recover data from these tapes, and take corrective action if you can't.
