I have configured my settings for the SUS server in the registry. The only

problem is it does not automatically install the updates. I have attached a

copy of the registry key. Does anyone have any idea where I need to make the

changes so as to have the updates installed automatically.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]

"WUServer"="http://VP125SVR1"

"WUStatusServer"="http://VP125SVR1"

"TargetGroupEnabled"=dword:00000001

"TargetGroup"="CHF"

"ElevateNonAdmins"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]

"NoAUShutdownOption"=dword:00000001

"NoAUAsDefaultShutdownOption"=dword:00000001

"NoAutoUpdate"=dword:00000000

"AUOptions"=dword:00000004

"ScheduledInstallDay"=dword:00000000

"ScheduledInstallTime"=dword:0000000a

"UseWUServer"=dword:00000001

"RescheduleWaitTimeEnabled"=dword:00000001

"RescheduleWaitTime"=dword:00000005

"NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers"=dword:00000001

"DetectionFrequencyEnabled"=dword:00000001

"DetectionFrequency"=dword:0000000a

"AutoInstallMinorUpdates"=dword:00000001

"RebootWarningTimeoutEnabled"=dword:00000001

"RebootWarningTimeout"=dword:00000005

Re: Client WSUS Settings

Hello ray3d84,

I think a lot people here can not understand all this entries, me included.

It would be easier if you post the policy setting in short and your configuration

in words. And how you link the policy in AD to the clients.

Best regards
