Icon text not matching background

Recommended Posts

I recently installed Vista-Inspirat on my Windows XP laptop to make it

look nicer - and it does but now the text on the icons on my desktop

don't mtatch the windows wallpaper (black text on blue background -

not nice).

Even when I remove Inspirat the text does not revert to its normal

transparent state.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? It ruins the great look that

Inspirat achieves.

Thanks,

Bobby

RE: Icon text not matching background

Try this:

Start > Control Panel > System > Advance tab > Under Performance, click the

Settings button > Visual Effects tab > Check Use drop shadows for icon labels

on the Desktop
