IE7 on Vista focus change

Hello all, I hope you can assist me, or perhaps point me in the correct direction.* If I am in the wrong forum I apologize in advance.

 

I am having an issue with IE7 running under Vista.* My home page is set to www.fownews.com (okay, not mine, my wifes) Trouble is if she has more than 1 tab open whenever foxnews refreshes the focus changes back to that page, taking her away from the page she is on.

 

Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening, it is most annoying to be on a page reading and have it changed on you.
