1. Is there a way to print a document your of veiwing on the remote end

locally...

2. I establish a connection onthe remote screen blanks out. Not much good

if you are trying to show a user how to do something. Is there a way to

prevent this from happening?

3. RDC is not included in XP Home. Can it be added?

Thanks in advance. And thanks for your assistance in the best. This group

has been very helpful

Yes, but only if your local printer is an ordinary printer, not a

multi-function / DOT4 printer.

Not if the host is a WinXP machine. If it is a server then you can

use "shadowing".

Do you mean if WinXP Home can act as a Remote Desktop

Host? No, it can't.

On the Remote desktop client before connecting, go to options-> Local

resources-> printers. If you have a crazy printer that doesn't work

like Pegasus said, use a free tool like Cutepdf to print to PDF, then

print the PDF locally.

Investigate the Remote assistance feature in Windows. Or a third party

tool like VNC.

No. It is available on XP Pro, and Media center, but not Home.

Investigate Remote assistance or VNC.
