Windows Media Player v.11 DVD codecs

I have been racking my brain trying to find a source on the net for "

FREE " and I'll say this again .... FREE codecs for use with Windows

Media Player Version 11.

 

I had everything working when I bought my lap top. I could insert a

COMMERCIAL DVD movie into my e drive and the Window Media Player 11

would pop up and the movie would play with no problems !

 

 

Now... after my ex-girlfriend did something to my lap top....

everytime I insert a DVD it says I need a Codec to play it.

 

I did have CyberLink's codec but now I don't.

 

 

Is there any site that offers this " Mysterious " WMP v.11 DVD codec

for FREE !!! Not a trial version, or anything like that... I would

like a FREE codec to download!

 

Any help is GREATLY appreciated !!!!

why don't you try ffdshow iys free find it by google

Did you try a System Restore (to a previous restore point)? Not sure if

that will recover it, but maybe it's worth a shot?
