Error Mesasages re: Windows Explorer & Stardust Screensaver

Hi, since upgrading from Windows ME to XP, two what could be related problems

have come up. Firstly, and this happens quite often, whenever I try to open

Windows Explorer (sometimes MY COMPUTER), I get an error message that reads

like this: WINDOWS EXPLORER HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO CLOSE. I

get the same message with STARDUST SCREENSAVER CONTROL as well, only,

obviously, Stardust Screeensaver Control is in the message in place of

Windows Explorer. The whole desktop resets itself but some capability is

lost. In particular, some of the System Tray icons are irretrievably lost.

Also, certain IE 7 windows cannot be made full screen. I did find an

Knowledge Base article that refers to the exact error message relating to

WINDOWS EXPLORER, but the only fix suggested is to remove any Kodak related

software off the hard drive. Since we don't have that software program on

our computer, that is obviously not the problem. We cannot find any other

articles or suggestions that relate directly to these issues. Our hard

drives are free of any bugs or malware. Anyone run into the same problem??

Any feedback would be really appreciated.
