Cannot Browse to Certain PCs

Hi all

Why would I get a permissions error when browsing to some PCs on the network

and not others?

Via Entire Network-MS Windows Network, I can generally see printers

available on each PC and also access the admin share C$.

I am domain admin on WindowsServer2003 with XP clients.

TIA

Phil

Access to admin shares is restricted to members of local Administrators

group on the local computer. While Domain Admins global group is

automatically added to local Administrators when the computer joins the

domain, it is possible to remove it afterwards. Have you confirmed that this

is not the case?

Thanks for reply

Yes the domain admin is in the local admin group.

Strangest thing, the PC is on the network (Win2003 server domain) but I

can't access it or even ping it!

Any more ideas?

TIA

Phil
