Why Windows Terminal Server 2003 log in with pre-windows 2000 acco

I have a 2003 AD with domain and forest functional level Windows Server 2003.

When I log in with a account to Terminal Server it use the pre-windows 2000

username and thats is a problem because I have user with 3 or 4 name and that

be a very long username.

 

Why cannot I log in with User logon name?
