Have just found your site and am new here, so, hi everyone!

My problem is I cannot watch any video clips without them stopping after 5 seconds (or less.) I used to be able to watch I Player quite well up to about two months ago.

I have had many problems with BT over past month over connection/ line fault, which now seem to be eradicated following engineer's visit who found an external faulty line. (After I'd bought a new router & given money to a PC tech person to look at internal connections.)

So now, I can get connected, can hear phone calls; however, would love to be able to watch I Player again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Bridcat, have you tried uninstalling the I Player and then a re-install?

Does it have to be I player, there are loads of video players available, and a lot available for free as a download.

Nev.

Hi

Thanks for replying to this.

Actually, I didn't download the I Player, I was more concerned to just watch stuff straightaway from BBC I Player site.

Since posting here, I played around & thought maybe I needed to install updated 'Jav', (whatever that is!) However, after doing so, I actually watched a whole 2 1/2 hour film yesterday with no cut outs/ interruptions! Heaven!

However, I'm sure this site is exactly what I need - as I find all the comp. jargon impossible to understand at times!

So, I will be definately using you all here, if that's OK.....many thanks,

Bridcat26
