straggler Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Hi all, I have a Mac Powerbook G4 laptop circa 2001. It's not in a good way - frame broken (so keyboard and DVD drive doen't work properly) plus I managed to break the screen a while ago. I'd like to get another laptop and make one good un out of the two. Is there anything in particular I should look out for when buying a donor laptop? Would a machine with a working screen and DVD drive be all that I'd need to find? I'll be getting someone who knows what they're doing to actually nail the thing together. Thanks. Quote
