I keep getting a message saying " root element missing", so my book keeping program won't open. The program support team tell me it's something on my pc thats beem changed recently? I'm on wondows xp home and my pc is a hp pavilion. Can anyone please help? thanks graham

Some more details might help such as what the program and version is. Exact error messages. Exact details of your support so far and model number of your Pavillion. Also did the program ever work? And when do you get the error? etc.

 

Short of any more information all I can guess to try is a complete uninstall and reinstall of the unknown program.

iris support has taken the progam and opened it on their computer. they have updated to the latest version and put this back on my pc. I have then reinstalled it, but still the same problem. cheers graham
