Custom counters missing in Performance Monitor log

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a problem with Performance Monitor in windows.

I have added some performance objects and under each I have number of

counters. I can view the counters in System Monitor window live when I

have added the counters to the window.

But if I add those performance objects and counters to my Counter Log,

then these objects and counters do not appear in the drop down list

for Performance Object.

Do you know the reason for this?

The custom performance objects are implemented in C++.

As said there is no problem to view these custom objects and counters

live, but they do not appear in the list of performance objects for

the performance log, even I have added all these objects/counters to

the log.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards

md
