looking at these PCs, what do you guys think? Major difference between first and other two is 2GB less RAM although 6GB should be more than enough right? First one looks most appealing but Pavilion Elites are newer models methinks.

Then there is also the I5 HP which looks like good value which leads me to the question is hyper-threading a significant boost (is it equivalent of 8 cores or am i totally wrong)? :

btw i am lookin for intel i7 or i5 pc's (pre-built) because from the net surfin i done i gather these are better than the phenoms although i may be wrong :)

The Core i5 are really good also, and is much less than the i7.

 

All those Pc's look good it is really up to you on how much you want to spend.

i agree all look good specs apart from Graphics cards are abit naff if any gaming or serious graphics are required of it.

 

(Nvidia GTS250 would be best starting point for GPU if any of the above required)
