Guest letnes Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 My network is running very slow. I have a printer shared out from the server and a network printer. When I click print in an application it takes a long time ( 1 minute and sometimes 2) for the print page to show up, sometimes I get a message that the printer is not responding to I want to wait. I have some shared drives and the desktops sometimes lose connection to these shared drives. What tools can I use to monitor the traffic on the network, to see what causing this problem as the network only started doing this about a month ago. I would like to test the NIC card and the router to see if there are causing this problem. What tools can I use? Thank You.

Did you specify a DNS server ip on it?
