Migrate TS system.

I have 2 TS Server (1 is a TS Licensing) in a w2k domain.

I must migrate them in a new w2k3 domain.

Which procedure can I do?

I understand that you wish to migrate TS Licensing from Win2k to Win2k3.

This is not a supported option as far as I understand.

 

 

 

You can follow following steps to get around -

 

 

 

1. Call Microsoft Clearinghouse, ask them you are planning to upgrade your

TSLS server; they will reissue you licenses; Make sure you have all paper

work related to purchase of licenses

 

2. Then you can upgrade the machine (Win2k to WinK3)

 

3. Install TSLS; Activate the License Server; Install Cals using new keys

Clearing house provided you;

 

4. Make sure your TS (Terminal Servers) are able to discover new TSLS

(License Server)

Now all TS are Win2k3 connected to a AD w2k domain.

I dont' upgrade their operatings systems.

I must join to a new AD Win2k3 domain.
