hhartland Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 My laptop decided to break a while ago, i didnt have my xp disc anymore so therefore i used a vista disc which i found in my house, unfortunately now my laptop has missing drivers. My games wont play because it says my grapic card does not support it, and when i did the dxdiag nothing comes up for 7 or 8 drivers. I went onto packard bell and onto intel website but couldn't find any help. I think this maybe due to that the vista disc was for a computer, it mentions ATI graphics card but im sure my laptop is intel chipset??? or something along those lines HELP! I dont have a clue what to do. X Quote
maynardvdm Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 What did you do with the Vista Disk? Did you do a clean install? What is the make and model of the laptop? Jelly Bean Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Can I also add if this Vista disk was already used on another computer as you dont realy find Vista disks lying around unless they were for another computer. If the disk has been used on another computer then you have messed up the system,it is one disk and one computer not one disk many computers. You need to purchase a new install legal disk.
