If you go to Live.com / search / news this comes up for "Microsoft"

 

http://search.live.com/news/results.aspx?q=microsoft&mkt=en-us&scope=&FORM=LIVSOP

 

= many of the sites are business corporate results..

 

Forbes #1 and 2 result

 

and on pages 1 and 2:

 

herald tribune

cnn moneywire

money central

market wire

bloomberg

standford wire.. etc

 

 

now go to google news / microsoft:

http://news.google.ca/news?hl=en&tab=wn&ned=ca&q=microsoft&btnG=Search+News

 

lots of tech sites, normal sites - SOME business but not overly

 

 

So im just wondering... is there a reason live search news is more business/corp orientated?

 

like maybe the top executives idea of a good search is all the financial news?
