when I right click on a jpeg file I get the "open with" dialog box. That

dialog shows two entries for the program that I want to use i.e. Adobe

Photoshope. One of them is dead, when I click it nothing, the other link

works. how do I remove the bad link/entry?

Appreciate some assistance, thanks in advance

Re: Right click "open with" command

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that I'm using WinXP home SP2 and the

article you referred me to does not apply to this OS. Could you send me

another that does. Sorry for the inconveince.

Re: Right click "open with" command

While the article does not mention XP, the same keys are there in the

Registry in XP, i.e., these keys exist:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.jpg\OpenWithList

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.jpeg\OpenWithList
