Guest lir Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Dear all: Please, help me out... I installed a clean installation of WSUS3.0 on a Windows 2k3 SP2. I configured the group policy hotfixes distribution. I saw this error on the server side: Event ID 13051 No client computers have ever contacted the server. and this one on the client side: Event ID 16 Unable to Connect: Windows is unable to connect to the automatic updates service and therefore cannot download and install updates according to the set schedule. Windows will continue to try to establish a connection. I have checked the registry on the client and policy in working. I have changed the Log on account in the Updates Service (on the server), fron IIS to local system account. I have run the WSUSclientdiag, but I don't see any error, I don't have anything to compare of. Any clue? Your help will be really appreciated. Best regards LIR
