Hi, a while back i tried a version of windows vista on my pc. I am also running xp pro. The vista didnt work so I stuck with xp. Now when I boot up I get a screen which asks me which operating system Id like to go to. I always go to "earlier version of windows". How do I get it back to normal so its just xp?

Thanks Siggy

Hi, Thanks for the speedy response. Sounds good but problem I have is that the version of windows vista is inaccessible therefore I cant get into it to download that boot file. The only operating system I can get into is xp.

Thanks Siggy

Hi, thanks again for the quick reply. I checked out that link but still no good, I do not have the vista disc , it was a copy a guy gave me when vista first came out also I have deleted all vista and partitioned the HDD. I just cant get rid of the dual boot at startup.
