I have just changed my server and now have a wireless router. I have a IBM R50e notepad and cant find how to turn the wireless enable on.

Can anyone help please?

There is a wireless set up wizard in Control panel, I have entered the SSID they sent me but am stuck now.

Wireless enabling problem

Hi,

I have just changed my server and now have a wireless router. I have an IBM R50e laptop and it has a wireless set up wizard. I have entered the SSID they sent me but am now stuck.

Somewhere there must be a way to ENABLE the wireless, but I cant find it. There is no switch anywhere so I wonder if anyone knows where I'd find how to enable wireless.

Hello Rondetto. :)

Do you have the appropriate drivers installed? If no, then please download and install the driver from here.

I am guessing yes but I would still like you to confirm that for me.

Try pressing the Fn + F5 key combination. I think that should toggle between enabling and disabling the drivers.

Let us know how it goes though. Good luck. :thumb:

And please don't double post in different Forums Ron. Doing so will only reduce the amount of time of response from people. Thank you for your co-operation. :)
