Suggestions needed for failing client mapped drives across VPN tunnel

Windows 2003 Domain, Single Forest, main office and one branch office

connected over the Internet via VPN using Cisco equipment and Internet

access is Partial T1 at both locations.

 

Main office has one Windows 2003 Server PDC; Branch Office has one

Windows 2003 Server BDC and is bridgehead server for the Branch Office

subnet.

 

All clients to remote server mapped drive attempts fail, however all

server-to-server mapped drives work just fine. Attempts to change the

MTU on the client side to as low as 1200 have not seemed to fix.

 

Are we missing something here?

 

On each Client PC, would adding static route to the other subnet PDC

or BDC help?

 

Any suggestions you may have would greatly be appreciated.
