hi

 

when performing a clean installation is it best to log into the OS (ie XP) already on the computer and start from there?

 

or

 

boot up with the disc in the drive and install from there?

When performing a clean installation its best to boot from the Disk and format the drive :) so you wouldn't be able to do it from XP.

 

But this is not good if you are doing an upgrade installation.
