firewall-group policy control

I guess I've done something dumb somewhere...I dont have an active firewall

apparently...when I go to the control panel to turn it on manually a message

appears that says "Your windows firewall is turned off. Your network

administrator (I guess thats me?) is using group policy (the dumb bit I guess

I've inadvertently clicked somewhere along the line) to control these

settings. How do I undo this?
