sync to phone problems

Please help, I recently synced some music files from my laptop to my nokia 5800 music phone. these were either mp3 falbums of a dvd or downloads from amazon etc which I saved to the harddrive then via windows media player i dragged to the sync list .Everything worked fine until recently but now every time i press the start sync button I get an error message for everything I try to put on my phone.The files aren't hidden so am I missing something file wise ???? This is totally peeing me off now and will donate a tenner if some one can solve it for me!!!

Try changing you phone settings to "MASS STORAGE" then drag and drop...
