RPC services terminated unexpectedly.

Hi all,

 

I have a problem with my system.

As soon as I log on to my windows xp system, It pops up a message which reads

" Windows needs to restart, Remote procedure call service terminated

unexpectedly." and windows restarts in 60 seconds. I am unable to work at all

and can't understand how to trouble shoot it. I even tried booting the system

in safe mode but it didn't work.

 

Anyone can help me out in this?

See whether same problem also occurs in windows safemode.If didnt perform

system restore.

Make sure your system is malware free. There are a few older worms out

there that will do exactly what you are experiencing. Properly updated

systems have the vulnerability plugged by the OS patches. See

Hope this isn't your issue but it can be removed by following the

instructions on MS KB article.
