Does anyone know of a good way to intelligently sort strings?

Consider in the case of filenames, "index2.shtml" should come before "index10.shtml", but since String.CompareTo(x,y) does a binary/alphabetic per-char comparison it fails and puts "index10.shmtl" before "index2.shtml".

EDIT: Nvm, my terminology's wrong so Google wasn't helping. It seems I'm after Natural Search algos.
