I've just had my PC fixed (new MoBo) and since I got it back, it hasn't been able to locate the network wirelessly. I've tried 2 different network adapters and once installed, still neither can find the network. Why could this be? Could something have gone wrong whilst it was being fixed? I am running WinVista btw.

Thanks.

Just to make sure we understand what equipment you have......

The adapters you have are they USB?

When you installed them did you use the install CD that came with them?

Can you post the make/model of the adapters (useful to know as some come with connection software).

Have a look up the start menu, look for any software relating to the wireless adapters and uninstall it.

Reboot and plug your preferred adapter in, wait for Windows to find it and see if you can find any networks.

If not, go to Device Manager and see of there is a yellow question mark or cross over any devices.

Look in the Network Adapter section - can you see your wireless adapter listed?
