Can I connect an all in one to another monitor or TV. Previously on other PC's I would just disconect monitor and connect to TV. Please answer as if your talking to a 5 year old, really don't know anything about connection types etc. Nick Quote

chaos001 Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 Not sure which I have. Acer Aspire Z5610 Intel ® Core 2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93 GHz 4 Gig Ram Does this information answer which I have Quote
Match Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I Agree with Jelly Bean according to Acer you have Side: Two USB 2.0 ports, Multi-in-1 card reader, High-definition headphone and microphone jacks, Ambient light switch Rear: Four USB 2.0 ports, DC-in jack, Ethernet (RJ-45) port, Four audio ports, eSATA port, optional IR blaster port (bundle with TV tuner card), optional TV-tuner port to connect to a second monitor you would need a VGA and or DVI out port or a PCI/PCI-e slot to put an after market graphics card in Products Quote
chaos001 Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 If I network my existing computer to another pc that can connect to the television. I should be able to work from my existing pc on the television screen. Yes No ? Nick Quote
Match Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Not to sure what your trying to achieve but yes. If you network the two PC's and set up file sharing your old PC can read of your new PC's drives HDD/DVD and play or display the files on the TV. but your new PC won't be able to use the OLD PC to run a second monitor, if you set up remote access you should be able to control your old PC from your new PC. as far as I know But Networking isn't my strong point so their might be a networking wizard that would disagree with what I just said.
