"external entity" on server 2003 sp2

Hi,

I have a Windows Server 2003 SP2 install, member of a NT4 domain (yes,

i know, don't ask! :) )

When I open local users and computers section of computer management I

see some users listed as "External entity"

Some "external entity"'s are certain known domain users (and they have

corresponding profiles under 'c:\documents and settings\'), but there

are two of them that are neither local or domain users and I'd like to

find out more.

The NT4 domain has only one BDC and has no trusts.

I've tried searching for 'external entity' but these terms are too

generic.

Could someone point me to some documentation where I could understand

where are these users coming from (the definition of "external

entity")?

Thanks,

Costin

ok. ignore me. i discovered some stupid 'application administrator'

created the accounts without informing me. the 'external entity' was

the description, so that's why i could not find any documentation on

it :)
