Guest Chad Borsheim Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Does anyone know how I can do a complete registry search and replace based on a keyword. We migrated to a new file and print server and in every workstation registry is the old file server name all over the place. I ideally would like to just replace the old server name "w2afpsys000" with the new name "w3sfp1" in the registry. Thanks Chad

In the future, please don't multipost - if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting a single message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can follow the thread. Multiposting wastes everyone's time, including yours, and may lead to your actually getting *less* help rather than more.
