Strange Desktop Problem

I recently have had a problem with Wallpaper Master with a deleted desktop

image. Now whenever I minimize an application to show the desktop, the

desktop icons don't show. In order to show them I must click on the "Show

Desktop" icon in the taskbar. And oddly enough, when I click the "Show

Desktop" icon a second time, the icons disappear.

The "Show Desktop Icons" Option is checked off in "Arrange Icons by".

Any suggestions for a solution? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with "Wallpaper Master". It must be a third-party program

that has somehow messed with Windows Explorer (XP's graphical user

interface). Contact tech support for "Wallpaper Master" or uninstall it and

see if that fixes the issue.
