SaveFileDialog is not using UAC.

I am trying to write a simple text editor, and so far I have the Open and Save/As functions working, however when I attempt to save a file to c:\, it tells me that I do not have permissions to do so.* I am running as admin as well as having UAC turned on, so how do I enable use of UAC as needed? I am also currently running VB2008 Express in Administrator mode.
