Where can I get a free website?

My provider does not have webpages. I'm just looking for a place to

post a few photos and my homepage which is just a place to promote a

small private non-profit animal shelter, and mostly list the animals

up for adoption. I've had this site on both 50megs.com and

geocities.com, but they have so much garbage advertising and popups

that the site itself gets lost. I have since removed the site from

those two. I do not need much space, something like 3 megs is more

than enough. I'd prefer to avoid the "blog" type sites, and just

maintain a regular website. Free is preferred, but if it's just a few

bucks a year, I might consider it. Anyone know of such a site?

I dont mind if they have an advertising header, just not all the

popups and java script crap that literally burys the site, which both

of those two did. I probably got more complaints from people than any

use, because people complained the site was all junk. I had to agree

with them, but explained it was not my fault. I'd spend hours making

a nice looking and informative site, and half the page was covered

with garbage and all the text and pictures would get scrambled.

Thanks for all help.

How does having your very own domain name sound, like let's say you call

it: http://lettermanshelter.com/ ..domain name is free with your order.

How does your own email being letterman@shelter.com sound.. or whatever

email name you choose since you get 600 email accounts with it..

Minimum of 10 GB of space comes with this least expensive package

300 GB monthly transfer limits comes with this least expensive package

etc, etc, etc ...all for only $3.95 month

No advertisements or No Anything on it, except Only what you put on it to

show! ...it's yours - and you own it.

This is the one I use:

http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Hosting;jsessionid=21261B34CF1F3448B4212A513BE2B6F2.TC61a?__frame=_top&__lf=Static

...actually I use the $4.99 monthly but they didn't offer the &3.99 one when

I got mine back then.
