JANICE Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I have said i would ask you guys for help for someone else who cannot get onto this ite themselves.The problem they are having is and i quote. " i really cant open any websites on the net apart from here google, yahoo, facebook youtube... nothing with open just says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage any ideas ? To determine if this is a browser issue have you tried a different browser? Since this is a IE problem try Firefox. Other possible causes would be malware, firewalls or possibly a HOST file issue. It might even be malware or a program that is IE specific. For now try a different browser. I suspect it's related to that. After that we can try to isolate this more. smudge Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 thankyou janice for posting this for me im using windows vista home premium and using windows explorer 8 (i think, dont know how to find which one) i turned my pc off for a few hours and when i opened ie up again all sites seemed to open, but the likes of facebook is running slow still like it as all week im using a intel ® celeron (R ) E1200 @ 1.60 ghZ with 512 mb with my drive ive used 27.3GB and theres 40.4GB space (total 67.7GB) Quote
