Common Certificate for all Profiles on a Terminal Server

Hello,

We use a website to access information hosted by a local County office. The

website issues certificates via a Microsoft Certificate Server (anyone can

install the web cert). However, the certificate is stored in the users

profile, so in a multi-user environment the certificate must be installed for

each user. Is there a way to install this cert for all users on a paticular

terminal services server, without having to manually do it by hand?

Have you already tried installing the certificate in the computer store

rather than in the user store?

Anubhav,

Thanks for the follow-up.

The web cert installs a Intermediate CA and a Personal Certificate.

If I try to logon to the TS as a different user profile, both the

Intermediate CA and Personal Cert are not available.

Re: Common Certificate for all Profiles on a Terminal Server

If you are the admin of the computer you should able to get to the

certificates snap-in for MMC. You need to add the required certificate to

the "Trusted root certificate authorities" store for it to be available to

all users.
