Websites have no sound

This is only happening with Windows media player.

 

Of a website like Amazon I don't get any sounds.

 

On sites that has videos, like CNN, the videos play fine but there is no

sound.

 

However when I start Win Media Player to play the media I have on the hard

drive there are no problems at all.

I can also hear things and watch videos with sounds just fine.

 

XP Pro all latest updates. Win Media 11. . . .

Locate and install one of the "mega" codec packs. You may have a

codec problem and with one of these packs, this should be fixed.
