I was performing a reboot of my desktop and transferred AVI/Mpeg video files onto a memory stick. The files were working okay until I transferred digital pictures onto the same memory stick. Now the digital pictures and about 90% of the video files are corrupt and will not play. Windows media player states no video file found or the file is either corrupt or in an unsupported format. The video files played on Media Player prior to transfer to the memory stick.

Can anyone advise how to restore the files?

What does it say when you right click one of the files?

What is the file extension?

What does it say it opens with?
