Guest kevin.james35@gmail.com Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Hello, Is it exists any command line (cmd) to know my Public IP when I'm located in a LAN? Because with a ipconfig command, I get my private IP. Thanks

The inside address of your router is in your (un-routable) local subnet range. The outside public (routable) address is assigned to it by your ISP, and should be known to your network admin. But if it is a cheap ADSL/DSL connection, your router may get its outside IP from a scope handled by the ISP's DHCP server. This is not good for business use because you can't VPN to it from the outside. -- Regards, Newell White
