Hi. my big big boss uses ms outlook to check email. he needs to read Trad

Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese all together.

He is using CHI XP Pro, with CHI office 2003 pro. I tried many settings but

still fail. if i change the MUI to Jap, can see Japanese mail but the

INBOX,SENT,DRAFT default folder on the left will changed to scrambled

characters. if I change the MUI to ENG, the Japanese email content or subjuct

line could not be read.

Please help, does anybody knows which combination of OS/Office/settings will

suit the best!? thanks~~

Re: Multilanguage problem

I am assuming that you are using English version of Windows XP.

and "East Asian Languages" was installed thru Control Panel->Regional &

Language option.

Try using "Applocale" software from Microsoft.

http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/tools/apploc.mspx

What does this is that you can create shortcut file to enable specific

language for

specific software apps without changing options on control panel.

For instance, you want to display Chinese properly on e-mail apps, Use this

applocale software to specify which software to use and select Chinese for

language, then create shortcut file for easy access.

Good Luck!!!!!
