Hello

When I go to a website like mail.live.com it takes me to either

Google.com or gives a 404 error. I get the same problem with Firefox.

I connect through a proxy. Some sites work ok like Google.com.

On other computer it works fine with the same settings.

I tried removing temporary internet files and cookies.

What should I do?

Do I repair windows xp? Or reinstall ie7.

Thanks

Run several anti-spyware checking scans. This sounds like it can be a

"hijacked" problem.

Make sure that IE is not using a proxy and is using your home web site

directly.

Defender is not enough. Look at:

Ad Aware

Spybot Search and Destroy

Spyware Terminator

Trend Micro's Housecall (web) - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

Run each a few times. If still being re-directed, locate HiJackThis

and join a HiJackThis web support forum so as to post the HJT log.

Someone will be able to recommend what to remove. (Note: This

newsgroup is not a support forum for HJT logs.)
