I was wondering if anyone has dealt wiht a problem where the AD home folder

randomly looses its properties. Let me explain, when a user logs in he/she

see only his/her folders but intermittently he/she will see everyones

floders. Any ideas?

Not 100% your issue exactly but I remember seeing this KB article

recently and it might give you a lead to another KB fix or something

more specific to your issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938380

I don't think that's really the bestdescription - the folder itself sounds

like it's fine :-)

I'm presuming you map the home directory drive letter to

\\server\share\%username% or similar - and your users are occasionally

seeing only \\server\share. Ideally, they can't *open* the folders that are

not their own!

If you've got XP clients, make sure you enable "Always wait for network at

startup & logon" via group policy - this should take care of the problem &

many others.
